"Everybody is a Learner"

We all have strengths and weaknesses. Hopefully we have opportunity every day to build on our strengths and work on making our weaknesses stronger. But we have to recognize, we are all learners in order for this to occur. We have to approach life with an open mind to see the possibilities and know we have not arrived. We must continue to grow as adults just as we expect from our children.

One thing I love about our staff at Brook Hollow is they are open to learning and furthermore exploring how each child learns and how they can enhance that learning. We are all individuals in our learning patterns. As a parent, it is important to know is my child a visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learner?

There are many great articles on this that you can read and seek to know how you learn and how your child learns. Cynthia Tobias has written some fascinating books on this subject. Just remember we all want to be lifelong learners, that we may be all that God has created us to be.
