"Purposeful Parenting"

Your job begins today launching your child to become that person you want them to be in the future. Things like teaching our children to hold the door for the elderly or for others to enter first. Or, when an adult addresses our children, teaching them to look the person in the eyes and respond to them. Children will never know these manners if we do not teach them. They are not born with an innate ability to know these things, they must be taught. As parents and caregivers, our role is to guide them to connect with other people and practice these simple, but important things. The small things we do now will make a difference for tomorrow.
