"Keep in Touch with Nature"

Thomas Berry says, "Teaching children about the natural world should be treated as one of the most important events in their lives."

How do we teach children about the natural world? We have to be outside!! As the weather is turning cooler, we tend to stay inside more and that is understandable, but please make extra efforts to be outside and get fresh air and some natural Vitamin D from the sunshine. With Covid-19 still threatening all of us, being outside is a natural immune booster. Also, studies show that even if you do get the virus, the duration and severity will be reduced if you have a stronger immune system which is fueled by sunlight, exposure to germs outside etc. One can still be safe and be outside. So be intentional with taking your children into the natural world and touch the pinecones, the leaves, and the wonderful pieces of nature that inspire and elevate our senses.
