"Keep Christmas in your Heart"

As we have put away the Christmas decorations and the hustle and bustle of this time of year, may we still hold fast to the meaning of the season. May we remember daily that because of the gift of that babe in a manger, we can choose salvation and we can choose Jesus.

It seems to me if everyone knew how much God loves them, they would love Him in return. But that is not the case. The Christ Child is brought to light at Christmas, but then too often we tuck Him away with the Christmas tree, the ornaments, and the nativity scene.

My prayer for you is to keep that light shining bright instead -- to keep the love of Jesus in your heart today and always. How will our children know about Him if we do not show them, share with them, and live with Him in our hearts daily.

May He be the gift that keeps on giving throughout the year.
