Christmas in Our Hearts

As I reflect on 2020, what an unexpected journey we have all had. And the journey is not over yet ~ we still face uncertain times ahead. Maybe, just maybe we can accept the adventure ahead by keeping a little Christmas in our hearts. We can leave behind old fears and sorrows and choose to thank God for new and better roads. We will need the "friendly spirit of Christmas" as we face the winter before us. And maybe in the spring, the "hope of Christmas" will encourage us.

May we pack away the decorations, but hold fast to the true spirit of Christmas. May Christmas be stenciled in our hearts all the year through ~ only then will Christmas have truly worked its magic.
