Unchosen pauses...….

As I reflect on these last weeks of COVID-19 and all the catch phrases that we have come to know like "sheltering in place", there is one that has really stuck with me. I read that someone called this time of staying home an "unchosen pause". No, we did not choose this virus to attack us, but we have had the time to pause and think. I pray that your thoughts have been productive ones and that things you have gained that are good and positive from this "unchosen pause" will remain with you. Let this pause not be in vain, but may it teach us what is important like family time, taking walks, doing puzzles together, and just down time. May we learn from this unusual experience and hold fast to those positive pieces that make us better people.
