Hopes and Dreams

What is your greatest hope for your child? It is something to think about and then work toward guiding in that way. Do you hope your child is the smartest child in class, the most athletic, or most well-adjusted? Do you expect honesty, obedience, or resilience? Do you sometimes tire of all the questions they ask? And yet how will they learn the answers if not from you? Parenting is being on 24/7 and it is a lot of work. Many times we don't know the answers, but we have to act like we do so they will know who the authority is- otherwise they will take

over and run the show. You are raising an adult so think about what are the qualities you must instill in them for life's success? Then remember, God does not rely on us to raise our children, we must rely on God.
