Center of our World

I heard a quote recently and it made such perfect sense to me. " Make the decision for your children to be a part of your family, not the center of your family". Children have their place in our family for sure but life does not need to revolve around them. In fact, they feel much more secure when they know mom and dad are in charge and not them, God has placed the adults in the position of leadership to guide, direct encourage, and promote independence in children so that they can then one day function on their own and be responsible adults who contribute to society in positive, productive ways,
